I'm so ready for summer. I know it's only January and I have 2 months to prepare but I just can't wait to hit the beach and get that sunkissed skin. In fact, due to my excitement, I already got myself this pair of Havaianas that's ideal for summer.

And I got another pair in neon green to match with my green Longchamp Neo bag. The SA told me that some people find it uncomfortable to wear but in my opinion, it's more comfortable than the usual style. I guess, it really depends on the person wearing it.

Christmas came early this year. I just received a gorg pair of sandals that I have been eyeing for months now--- It is the Hanley sandals (P950) from Tres Shoes.
My love bought this pair for me when Tres Shoes had a pop-up store at SM Clark, Pampanga just 3 weeks ago. It is one of the comfiest sandals I have ever had. I can walk for hours without even complaining. You just have to buy it to get my drift... ^.^ Plus, it goes well with any outfit especially with my basic uniform (white t-shirt and ripped jeans). I just hope they'd have a physical store in the near future 'cause I would like to hoard for more pairs!

The shopaholic in me didn't stop me from going to the grand opening of H and M in Festival Mall.
It was past 2 P.M when I got there. I wasn't able to get up early for the 11 A.M grand opening 'cause I was feeling kind of nauseous the night before. Anyway, the store was a wee bit crowded when I got in.
There was a 40-50% discount to select items including the top I'm wearing on the photo above. The highwaist pants were not on sale but it's okay as it came with a very affordable price tag (P499).
I really am happy that H and M finally has opened a branch near my place. Now, shopping just got a lot easier!

Another reason to celebrate, my fellow shopaholics from down south! The famous Poshmark Boutique is going to have a branch in Alabang. Yes, you heard it loud and clear!
Poshmark Boutique is an everyday bazaar where local celebrities shop. It houses several brands from different online sellers. Their main branch in Timog Avenue is too far from home so I have no choice but to wait for them to have a branch in the south. And finally, it's happening!

The Pucker Up and Party Holiday 2015 kit from Benefit Cosmetics gave me the chance to play with some of their lip and cheek tints... and Benetint is one of them.
According to Benefit Cosmetics' website, Benetint was originally created for an exotic dancer in the 70's. It's loved by many as it can give a natural and sexy flush.

Just like Posie Tint, you need to work fast in applying this product or else, you'll have a difficult time making it look even and non-patchy. It applies sheer but very buildable. The staying power is great but not on the lips. I have to do some retouches especially right after eating. I also noticed that it makes my lips a wee bit dry.
But overall this is a good product if you want a natural rosy flush that lasts for a day.

My sweat glands are very active especially when the weather's hot and humid. Glad to know that one of my favorite makeup brands, Benefit, has a shine-control powder that minimizes shine in an instant. -- Porefessional Agent Zero Shine.
Porefessional Agent Zero Shine is my go-to powder. It is perfect for touch-ups without making any mess. I usually put this over my foundation to help my skin stay matte for hours, but since I have really oily skin, I have to retouch after an hour or two. But that's fine by me. I find Porefessional Agent Zero Shine more convenient to use than those loose powders I have tried before.
Porefessional Agent Zero Shine is fragrance-free and it helps in minimizing the appearance of pores. Inspite of its peachy tint, it goes on sheer and it has a real nice and soft texture that is easy to blend. Plus, it doesn't make your skin dull in any way.
